Only the compact florescent lights (CFL) need to be recycled properly due to mercury content. In Toronto, Canadian Tire does not recycle CFL bulbs. IKEA does accept CFLs for recycling.

Brilliant ! If you had been to Bermuda, they use their water at least 3 times. The clothes washer empties the water in the set tub, it is then used for washing the floors, and then used to water the garden (and the soap may kill aphids) . A real eye opener for North Americans.

Ok, watched this again today and I’m going to do the Kleenex box trick. I just have to go to the dollar store and get a box of Kleenex. Which, of course, they will put in a plastic bag for me. And I will need to figure out what to do with a stack of Kleenex. 😂. Do some more videos please!

This is really great. I'm trying to be more conscious but I always forget the re usable bags for whatever reason, plus I live with my parents and they seem to always forget to use them too. I keep them on hand for garbage bags

A huge thankyou for this no-bullshit solution. My dangerous bags drawer, which previously kept popping open because stray bags inevitably got behind the drawer now can stay safely closed and accommodate some extra bowls and pans, solving other messy storage headaches. Now that I know most of the bags we accumulate are supermarket produce bags, I'll make a point of re-using them for getting produce at the store and using them for cat litterbox bags until they're more slowly spent.

I do like to get rid of clutter, but my refrigerator art brings me joy!! That's taking it a little too far.
